It’s said we are products of our environment. If that’s the case Cambl (Bobby Campbell) is a product of the Central Valley through and through. Excluding a brief stint in Stanhope, New Jersey, Cambl spent his youth raised by his mother in various Valley locations such as Badger, Pinehusrt, Dunlap, Sequoia Lake, Dinuba, Kingsburg and Selma. His 12 years education were spent in 13 different schools. Typical of most California youth, he was brought up on all kinds of music — classic rock, early country, punk and 90’s Hip hop. Since art imitates life, Cambl’s lyrics reflect much of his experience, beliefs and hopes. Cambl found himself becoming interested in crafting music after winning multiple of poetry competitions — it got him out of the daily pattern of school. This soon escalated to battle rapping in high school for various rewards. After school, Cambl spent several years living a bohemian lifestyle as he began his education of the music industry. He set out for Southern California for a brief stay at Long Beach State in a girlfriends dorm room eventually making his way back to the Visalia area for two years before lighting back out to Santa Cruz to pursue an entertainment career. It was here that Cambl began developing skills in photography and videograhy for acts like Fashawn, Evidence, Curtains, Roach Giggz ,J Stalin, Mr Fab and Kreayshawn while developing a strong relationship with Mattie I, Dj Racks, Mike B and Eli V who owned and operated local Santa Cruz boutique So Fresh. Cambl has since toured Cali twice and the entire west coast once He has also done various shows in New york, Atlanta, Flordia, New Jersey and has completed two official mixtapes, and four street tapes. He is currently working on his third tape with Kid Hayes, Dj Seven . Cambl’s production company is Alliemaddison.
